The Balnggarrawarra Melsonby Rangers have worked to protect country and culture across Gaaraay/Melsonby Station since 2012. Funded by the Queensland Indigenous Land and Sea Ranger Program and guided by the Melsonby (Gaarraay) Land Trust, the team operates out of their Ranger Base on Bridge Creek across their homelands, managing fire, weed and feral animals, and cultural heritage, plus many other projects including a fantastic partnership with Red Earth, hosting students on Country.
